Radioactive contamination |
|
Definition: The insurer will not be liable for loss or damage to any property resulting from ionising radiations or contamination or radioactivity from any nuclear fuel or nuclear waste. FOR DUMMIES This exclusion applies to all general insurance policies. It basically excludes any claim arising from the nuclear industry. The reason for this is it is a fundmental risk (too big a risk for any insurer to cover). Generally covered by the government. |
