Definition: All property, valuables, clothing, personal effects and money in your home or its domestic outbuildings garages or greenhouses owned by any member of your household or for which they are responsible. Fixtures and fittings for which you are responsible as occupier of the buildings including aerials satellite aerials and their fittings and masts.

FOR DUMMIES

Items in your home that you can physically take with you, when leaving. They're your usual items, furniture, jewellery, clothing, DVD players, exercise equipment, golf clubs, computer equipment etc. A word of warning – If you have a particularly expensive content, like a diamond ring, or a Rolex watch – please inform Insurers as they may have a set limit on any one item within your home.
